At the end of April beginning of May, we went on a family vacation to San Diego. Well it wasn't the whole family. We left Brady at home with my mom. Which was soooo hard for me, breastfeeding and all. Not too mention he was only 4 months. He did awesome for my mom and picked back up breastfeeding, no problem. I have so many pictures I couldn't post them all, but I'll post a few cool ones. I have most of them uploaded onto my facebook page so if you want to see them all then go
here and
here.
I'll just quickly break down our trip.
~Day 1. Flew in and got our rental car and settled into our hotel room then played in the water. We stayed at the Catamaran, which was right on Mission Bay and a block from Mission Beach. It was beautiful. I would recomend staying there if you ever go down there. The hotel grounds were covered with cool plants and trees, ponds with huge Coi, and exoctic birds. Inside the Lobby there was huge rocks and a waterfall. We stayed in the Tower on the 12th floor so we had an awesome view of the Bay and the Beach.
~Day 2. We went to the Zoo on this day. We were there most the day and didn't see everything it was so huge. They had moving sidewalks like they do in Airports, but they were up and down more like escalators. My boys love animals. It was so fun seeing how excited they would get over a bird or a monkey. They had a 8 month old Panda. which was my favorite. It was so cute. And apparantly it had slept all day and came out to play right before we got to its exhibit. so we got pretty lucky.
~Day 3. Sea world day. I was so excited to go to Sea world, I may have been more excited to see Shamu, then my boys. We went to a seal show, then the Shamu show, and a sesame street show in 4d. Sesame Street was actually really cool! We didn't ride too many of the rides cause some of them you had to be completely dry and well...we were drenched, pretty much the whole day. Kenden made us sit in the 5th row of the shamu show, and the soak zone goes up to row 16. So we got wet... and then of course Kenden was crying cause he didn't want to be wet. (which is weird cause that boy lives in our backyard playing in the kiddy pool all day long soaking his clothes) Anyway, we also got to pet and feed these Bat Rays. They were funny cause they liked being touched they would swim right by your hand. There was also a shark in there, I can't remember what kind, but Tate got too feed it. Its mouth was like a giant suction cup, It was really weird.
~Day 4. We went to the Wild Animal Park and played in the Bay. The animal park was even bigger than the zoo. We weren't expecting that so we probably didn't even see a 1/4 of it. We took a train ride out to see a bunch of the animals, I got some really awesome pictures. We walked so much on the previous days we were pretty tired so we went back to our hotel and played in the bay. It was so relaxing! And on that evening we took a boat ride on the Bahia Belle, it was cool cause it was right around sunset. Would have been quite romantic if it was just me and the hubby, but...it wasn't.
~Day 5. We went home! We had such a good time, but the minute we flew into the Portland Airport I was ready to see my Brady Boy. We had to drive all the way back to Eugene, then I had to wait for my parents to bring him up.

I just thought this picture was awesome. I think at this point Kenden was pretending he was a Cheetah, and Tate was a Parrot.
Thank you everyone that helped out with Brady so we could go on this trip. We greatly Appreciate you.
